Mitchell & Ginh | Elopement | Nashville Wedding Photographer

All I need is YOU | Nashville Wedding Photographer | Springfield, TN

Locale: Glenn Memorial Womens Club

This wedding was a bit different.  I received an email from the grooms Mom.  Her son and now daughter in law had eloped.  The family of course wanted to celebrate their marriage and shower them in love.  She had reached out for reception coverage and I am so thankful I was available.

We make all the arrangements as she plans reception for them in 2 weeks. I am scheduled to shoot for two hours as the new couple greet guests and cut the cake.  This would all take place at the beautiful Glenn Memorial Womens Club in the historic district of Springfield, TN.  It was absolutely stunning.  Sherry’s florist did such an incredible job with all the beautiful arrangements to match the yellow and black linens.  A super delicious cake and cupcakes were provided by Cupcakes 24, I even was sent home with a few extras.  Yes my day was made.

Back to the story of getting this all together.  I accept the contract to shoot for two hours.  But if you have ever met me you know I can not just come in and shoot details and a few candids.  So I reach out to Lesia, the grooms mom, and offer a mini shoot before the reception for the bride or the couple.  I arrive to the venue an hour early.  It was a bit chilly that day and not ideal weather to be outside.  Mitchell and Ginh arrive and they are the sweetest couple.  I had never met or even communicated with them prior to the event.  I am so thankful they were willing to spend a little extra time with me prior to guests arriving.  This allowed me the chance to know them.  To know them as a couple.  The photos will show without a doubt just how much they love each other.  Ginh’s sweet sweet spirit and the way Mitchell makes her giggle.  Words could never explain what the images show so clearly.  Ginh and Mitchell have so much love and admiration for each other.  It is evident not only in the way they look at each other.  But in the way they speak and treat each other in each little moment.

So Nice To Meet You!

Hey y'all. I am the owner and photographer for Saved By Grace Photography and I love sweet tea! It is the one thing I can not give up. Cake, fine. Cookies, fine. Sweet tea, NOPE! Food is my favorite past time. Cooking, eating and feeding people. It's what makes my heart happy. Denim and anything floral is what you are likely to see me wearing any where and any day of the week. Denim is life! I love bright clean spaces with color. Teal is probably second to denim on what my favorite color is. I believe pearls can be worn with anything and nothing beats a good pair of cowboy boots. I'm a southern girl who married a cowboy. Think old school cowboy, mustache and all. He doesn't care much for the modern days and ways of doing things. I love him for it and he keeps me grounded. I am a full time wedding photographer working to live life to its fullest. Mostly I love being in my cozy little home with a bit of road trip and adventure mixed in.

Real Life. Real People. Real Moments.
